Job Description

Salary: $154,000 - 194,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, including at least five years of hands-on C/C++ programming, preferably on POS systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries is a plus.
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly, supported by relevant experience.
• Experience using the Agile Scrum development process.
• Strong communication skills when working with users, development teams, and other technical teams.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues within demanding timeframes.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage high-pressure situations with minimal direction.
• Team-oriented approach, with the ability to meet tight deadlines while under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Expertise in C/C++ programming.
• Experience with POSIX message queues and multithreaded applications.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting or Perl.

• Provide technical guidance on complex programming work.
• Work with users and development managers to define requirements for software releases.
• Write technical design specifications for software.
• Debug and troubleshoot new and existing code.
• Coordinate with QA and Operations teams to support smooth release rollouts.
• Provide production support for daily, weekly, and monthly processes.
• Help support or project personnel resolve moderately complex program issues.
• Work with clients and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within assigned areas.
• Develop test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programs.
• Conduct quality assurance activities, including peer reviews.
